The one I downloaded did not have NumCitiesArchyPercent, as the xml schema was expecting.

Error locating tag node in SetGlobalClassInfo function is the error I got when I tried to change the default number of players in CIV4WorldInfo.xml Now Civ4 won't run. Please help. thanks

CIV IV 1.61 and 1.74 will not let me run an operating deficit regardless of how much gold I have. It sets the tech slider back to 23,30,40% etc. after I hit end turn.

Anyone? Why does the computer automatically reset my tech slider to something other than 100%? Are operating deficits allowed when you have money in the bank? I like to get my money from plundering, not commerce.

I change the tech slider on the main screen, should i be doing it within the screen that pops up with F3 (or4?)

I am only losing 200 gold. I like tech 90%, culture 10%. But it reverts to 30% tech, 60%gold,10% culture. No espionage as I am using civ iv 1.61.

Every turn I set my tech slider to 100% but the computer sets it to 20 or 30% after each turn. Why can't I run a deficit? I have 4000 gold so why is it telling me I can't have 100% tech. thanks
