I consistently humiliate the AI with no more than 4-5 units on Emperor level. My score is higher than the next highest civ by like 300 points. This game is just so pathetic and broken on so many levels, and I don't mean just the AI. Simply a fail of a game, and I'm certain no one is going to...
Yeah, getting that 50% build time for settlers bonus from a social policy is a very "slow and evolutional growth" decision. Also all those crazy +5 happiness bonuses from every damn luxury resource are very small and evolutionary changes. What about those huge amount of food, units and other...
Not just its units. It also fails at expanding, building his cities too far away from each other and without a solid military protection. It's just bad on so many levels, from combat to city building to stupid diplo decisions to teching to ignoring the early wonders (and all that is on Immortal).
Can't see the point in buying a game with a brain-dead AI and a broken MP which can't compensate for it. That's without even discussing all the other major design flaws and removed features.

And I...
High scores mean nothing. Spore got high scores, Civ5 gets high scores, every Sims game gets high scores. RoN is a badly designed game IMO, just like countless others.
He's also the one who made RoN. Another flop.
Civ 2 and onwards were good because they were based upon an already very solid design foundation. But look at Brian's original creations. He isn't a great game designer imo.
Holy ****, is that real? Must be a parody of some kind.
