Keep in mind that marines can stack on ships now. You can use both when assaulting small geographical area. Once a foothold is established the marines can continue inland or assault over rivers.

As a monarch player, I don't think I'm quite up to snuff to submit games, however, I will try to play a shadow game (s) with the hope of learning from all of your submissions! I will submit a shadow game if I can find the time :)
