When I enter my friends IP address it doesn't connect, also when I search for civ 3 multiplayer games nothing shows up. Could this be a firewall problem? Also we are curious to see if the multiplayer still works even because gamespy shut down awhile back.

I need some help with Civilization 3 multiplayer. My friend and I can't connect to each other when we enter the host ip address.
