Looks like one enterprising person fixed his save with a hex editor. If you're technically inclined you might try this with a copy of your save :)

Stuck at work. But not to worry, when I get home and start my first border war, each unit that gets destroyed will be given a name from a list of everyone that posted that they were already playing before me.... (just kidding!) :D

Was there ever any confirmation that Babylon / extras will be available as DLC? I only got the regular version, and I'm suffering from buyer's remorse of a sort that I didn't get the deluxe ;)
