Believe me, I tried that. I thought, maybe one of the colors I used was off, so i tried with several different combination, but still no go. Anyway, if you can get it converted, I'll do the detail work.

Here's one I created using only jungle and coast. Its in .bmp, as I can't seem to get the bmp2bic.exe to work. It's much bigger, at 256X256. Feel free to use it if you want. Just let me know if you can get it converted to bic as I can't get that utility to work.

I have been searching both the forums and the net for an answer to this one: Is there any way to automaticaly count the number of cities you have placed in the editor with out having to scroll around and count each of them? The same with number of resources, luxuries, etc.

Thanks for the info. I've updated the file as sudgested except for a few points. Portland is a good 2 hour drive from the coast. While it is true that ships can access the city via the Columbia, there was not enough of docking facility at the time to represent it with sea access. my opinion...
