I can't begin a game with graphics on high. So I begin on low. Then, I can kick the graphics up to high. Exit. Then load that current game. The glitch is still there and the map "shutters" when I move it. I'm fine with playing with low, given the marginal equipment that I'm using. John

Yes, only graphics issue is this game. And my only graphics issue in this game is the one shown. It even occures in the tutorial. The card is 64MB and, after studying this site, I updated the driver. John

Just starting in simple Civ III and am loving it. Here's my Newbie question. How do you "work" a fish or whale tile? My workers refuse to get their feet wet. They won't work in a boat and working an adjacent coast tile doesn't seem to get it.
