Why do you all want to build multiple things simultaneously? It would always be a better strategy to only build one thing at a time!
Example:
Suppose you have 10 hammers a turn and want to construct two buildings of 50 hammers each. If you build simultaneously (5 hammer for each building) then...
I have not read the entire topic, but things i'd like to see:
Automatic promotions based on experience. So my unit gets woodraider promotion only when he has been successful in woods/jungle, not when he has never seen a tree and has only been fighting in deserts.
Unique wonders! Special...
Indeed I did not build all parts, but I understood that it would only affect the time it would take to get to Alpha Centauri, not the change of arrival...
This should be more clear!
In my last BtS game I built the space ship and sent it to Alpha Centauri. The victory counter slowly goes down to "one turn left for victory" and the next turn (in which I should have won) I get the following message (more or less):
"Mission failed all progress towards space race victory...
I don't know if it has been sugested before (don't feel like reading this thread the rest of this week), but it would be very nice if there was some sort of 'auto-mail-save game' in the PBEM variant.

I have played severall civ3/ptw games, but all of a suden when Ii try to conquer an enemy city, the city gets demolished after I take it. I used to get a message asking me wether i want to install a new governor or just want to crush the city. But I just don't seem to get this message? What am I...
I would like to see a clear table with info obout all the civs in the game. For instance i would like to see wich civ has a technology i don't have and vice versa. And wich civ has or not has iron for instance. THen if i would like to trade 'currency' for instance, I can immediatly see that only...

Considering the UU. I Don't...
I think it would be really nice if there would be an 80years war scenario (I don't know the english term for this war, but 't's the tachtigjarige oorlog in Dutch).
Civs in this scenario should be:
Netherlands, Spain (of course), but also France, England and several other European Civs.
Or...
