Would you have put in Brazil as a Civ?

Please link me if there's a good thread I can peruse, if/where this conversation has already been had. I give America a pass for being in Civ on the grounds that it's had enough of a major impact on the world to justify it's inclusion, despite it's very late appearance in history. Seeing...

Conquests of Might and Magic III

When Civ 5 comes out, you could effectively recreate HoMM battlefield tactics directly onto the hexagonal world map itself. With some care you may be able to deliver both parts of HoMM gameplay, rolled together into one for a reproduction of Heroes that is highly original yet exceptionally...

    Civilization V: Civilizations

I sort of figure, since this game is inherently fantasy, a single Native American civ would fit the bill nicely. After all, we have the United States beginning in the stone age, which to me seems at least several notches HIGHER on the outrageously bogus meter. BTW: I only mentioned Greece to...

    Civilization V: Civilizations

If you wanted to represent the Native Americans on a level that posited them as a global contender would you pick a short lived confederation that never grew any larger than the area of New York State? No. They should just do what they did in Civ4: represent the entirety of Native America...

Windows 7: "You cannot run multiple instances of this application at the same time"

I'm having the same problem, but I don't know what Run Civilization4.exe mod="Tutorial" from the directory it is installed in actually means. There is a .exe for Civ4 and there's another for BTS, but there are none followed by mod="tutorial" or such within the file name. It seems like this guy...

    mod loading problem

I'm playing a downloaded version of Civ 4 with BTS on Windows 7. Every time I try to load a mod, the game crashes and I'm left with a message that says "You cannot run two instances of this application at the same time." How do I fix this?
