    Disappointing Civ 4 performance

    I'm on a MacBook Pro 17", 2.16Ghz, 7200RPM drive, and 2GB of RAM. Graphically the game has run well for me so far - large world, 8 AIs, etc - but I'm having the same sound problems as others. I get music, but no battle sounds.
