No I checked it didn't create an extra one and I have the latest patch.. CIV Complete is problematic though!

I extracted to C:\Program Files\Atari\Civilization III Complete\Conquests\Scenarios is that correct? :(

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? It keeps crashing and saying this: missing entry in "Scenarios/../conquests/middleages/text/pediaIcons.txt":CON_BLDG_Marius Reform. I hope I can play it because it looks great!
