Personally I'd love to have more buildings that increase security against spies. I don't really "get" the balance of espionage but I feel that defensive espionage is useless and can't defend a thing once your city is big enough.

The village in Dynamic Towns is just a renamed trading post which can be build on top of a forest even in vanilla. But I can see what you mean about coding.
How about adding the ability to consume a worker and build a fishing boat on the lake tile, like how it works in Pontoon Bridge VP mod? Also in one game I have my city wedged between a lake and the sea, yet I can neither use a work boat nor a worker to build in the lake and it's mildly frustrating.
Stupid and illogical request but can you make it so that the forest doesn't remove the trading post when planting on it? I'm playing with Dynamic Towns mod and I don't want to destroy a completely evolved town just for some extra hammers. Especially on Epic speed where just building a lv1...

My bad. I was looking at the non-VP Unique Components in the workshop and remembered that years ago I was fiddling with it to make it work with VP. So I thought to myself "If UC for VP already have it, why the hell did I do that for?" and assuming UCVP didn't have it, hence the post. :cringe:
