I would like to see natural disasters brought back.. CIV 3 had volcanoes... Why not have earthquakes, Tidal waves, flooding etc

I play on a huge map, warlord, everything else is default When I start I usuallly want to get Budahism first so I build my first city at the very place I start at and get my warrior out exploring. Question: Is there anything I can do ensure I discover Mystricsm then Meditation faster...

How do you recruit tax collectors ?

Was thinking about this... suppose tech discovery was based on race ? example of alphabet vs writting... Western cultures ( america, europe ) would have had to have an alphabet before writting. No ?
