    ARGH! CD check

I was going on a transatlantic trip last week, and to preventing myself from dying of boredom, I installed my CIV III copy on a company laptop. But guess what, I forgot the friggin CD! So I had bunch of useless MB just sitting there, and I ended up playing PalmJong on my Palm! I'm not piracing...

    Colony frustration

True, that is my strategy too, it's just sometimes I have a resource that I really want, just out of reach, and there is no space for another city.

    Colony frustration

The manual makes no mention of this (I think)

    Handheld strategy game

I would love CIV I on a handheld. I played CIV I on a 286/8086 with VGA/EGA graphics. Surely a 33MHz 68000 Palm with 160x160 (320x320 would of course be better) should handle it? Who do I lobby? Lemmings are already out on Palm.

    Colony frustration

How do you create colonies? I have never been able to do that. Hitting Ctrl-B shows the 'cabin' icon, but the game refuses to build it anyware. I'm getting quite frustrated, what am I doing wrong?

    The Original Civ1 game

Well, who would I contact? I didn't find any information on Microprose/Infogrames (Did Infogrames aquire Microprose or what?) website about CIV I. Oh well... J.

    Windows 2000

Has anybody been able to run CIV 1 in a window on Windows 2000. It demands that it runs in a full window, which of course is silly, I want naturally to run it in a window. :) J.

    The Original Civ1 game

Well, I just wish they would make the CIV I code open, like Psygnosis did with the original Lemmings. Now you can get Lemmings on Palm & PocketPC. I would kill for the CIV I on my Palm. Heck, I would turn to the dark side and get PocketPC just to play it, if it were only available on PocketPC!

    Civ I on a PDA?

I would gladly pay again for a PDA version.

    CIV I source? Ever?

I was playing with Lemmings on my Palm today, and it was totally addictive. I started to wander if we would ever see other classics ported to a handhelds. The CPU is faster, (33Mhz 68000 vs. 16Mhz 286, I'm not even mentioning ARM-based PDA's) we have more memory, the only limiting factor would...
