I can't seem to download the patch from either here or Infogrames. At Infogrames a "connection failure" always occurs. The link on Civfanatics downloads a php file--not the update. Any suggestions?

I'm using a powerbook G4 667mhz (DVI) running OS X (10.1.5) and the game flies along, honestly. I had a G3 500mhz iBook before the powerbook and running the game on it was painfully sluggish. jody

Are those the two top resolutions for your system prefs in OS X? I'm running 10.1.5 too. I'm surprised 1152x768 isn't an option (that was the resolution of the last round of powerbooks, as you probably know). What do you see when you hold down the option button and start civ3? You should see...

Also, I forgot to include: one of the available resolutions in the powerbook's system prefs is 1152 x 768. This is the resolution I use for the game in OS X. I've not played the game in OS 9 on the new powerbook. jody

I have a new powerbook as well and civ3 runs great, in OS X that is. Are you running it in OS 9? jody
