Thanks for all your hard work on this patch, I'm really enjoying it. I played a few games on the 3/8 version, just upgraded to this beta version and am playing a game as the Zulu. It seems cities are way harder to conquer than in the 3/8 version? Enemy cities with no walls or castle have 500...
Nice work on the scenario, it looks really fun. I haven't played much of it yet, but I have two comments:
1) I'm not sure if the submarine is getting the +50% bonus against battleships like it says it should. The game is saying the fight is 24 vs. 50. The submarine has a base strength of...
So I tried the Road to War scenario and chose to play as the United Kingdom. What really disappointed me was that their cities in England don't have access to oil so they can't produce any tanks, ships, or aircraft.
The only English cities that had access to oil were the cities in Africa...
Unfortunately I saved over it. I'm starting a new game as France. If I run into anything similar again I'll remember to hold on to the save file for you.
Everything was going alright until the French attacked my city (on hills, city had walls and 2 longbowmen) with a chariot and a swordman. When they attacked the game crashed. I loaded the autosave from the turn before and tried it again and it still crashed.
Wow they can be moved over water, I never tried that. It's just kind of wierd since the AH1s can be airlifted and loaded into transports but these battle choppers can't. Either way, doesn't change the fact that they can be promote 6 times right when you build them; not sure if that is supposed...
I've been playing your 1941 scenario and I like it a lot. I'm playing as the USA, but I encountered some wierd things later on in the game. I got far enouch tech wise to start building those battle choppers. After they are built, the game lets you fully promote them right away. They also...
Yeah I can download it from inside the game but to actually install the patch it exits civ4 and runs the patch file. Each time this happens it says I don't have civ4 installed.
I downloaded the new patch but whenever I try to run it, it says that Civ4 is not installed but in fact it is. I can play the game and everything, but for some unknown reason it says the game isn't installed. Anyone know what a possible fix for this could be?
I had the graphic settings turned up before I applied the patch to Civ4 and my computer ran everything perfectly. But now after the patch it won't let me run on anything besides the lowest settings for everything. Is there a way to force it to run on a higher setting?
I'm sure this has been suggested before but could you make a sort of "lite" version where some of the less important civs are cut out to make load times faster? I love this scenario a lot but the wait time in between turns really hurts. Even with my 3000 mghz processor and 1 gig ram it still...
