Hello again! Anyway, what are the requirements for upgrading your units? I'm playing as Scandinavia, and I have a bunch of outdated units, and I can't upgrade any of them, they're all spearmen and archers with a few swordsmen thrown in. I have the required techs and everything.

How can I build a large military? I'm play Chieftain as the French, and whenever I try to build a large military(30-50) units, I use about 10 to defend my cities, BTW. This happens alot, I always end up getting -income! How can I avoid this? It's usually too early for marketplaces and banks...
