In vanilla Civ V the fort tile improvement and the citadel both change how they look when you reach the Industrial Age. They become modernized bases with radio towers and 20th-century artillery. The problem here id that the Industrial Era represents the 19th century, and it just doesn't feel...
Never mind. Turns out there were some typos in the .xml files that needed to be fixed. I finally got it to work. Thanks!

I want to add this unit to BtS without having to do too much changes to the vanilla files. It's somewhat more complicated than others because it modifies two other existing units as well as adding a new one (a "boomer" submarine). I tried loading it in a mod with modular loading but it does not...
I would like to know how everyone here was able to play the scenario. I can't find it in the scenario menu, though the save file is in the game files. Putting the file in "Worldbuilder" does nothing. Plus the options menu and Civilopedia don't work.
In the first Civ V match I played all of us had only reached WWII-era technology by 2050 (i.e. early Atomic Age). The game was set to be standard speed, so I don't know what happened. Nowhere close to giant death robots or even missiles.
Is there a mod that changes the appearance of forts, workers and Great Generals for the Industrial era? My army is made up of Civil War-era rifleman but my general is riding around in a jeep like it's World War II or something. The forts and citadels have radar/satellite dishes in the 19th...
