I am having the same problem, I hope that we don't have to go back to the store to get a new defective disk, lol. I figure that if that disk is still on the shelves, the rest of them are right along side them. So far I'm having a bad experience with Civ 4 as well.

I saw this, but after so many problems I don't want to drive an hour and a half round trip to get another defective disk. I just thought with so many problems they may have another answer to this problem. Thank you Neon Deon for the quick reply but are there any other options? BTW I emailed...

I don't understand why, but my when I put the second disk in at installation I get the error saying catostrophic failure. I'd really like to play considering I have a few days off, and this was supposed to be my entertainment during then. I have emailed the customer support, but of course no...
