I have problems with the persians, too. Declaring war seems impossible after having signed a peace treaty some hundrets of turns ago.

I have the same problem. it constantly crashes on reloading games. it even crashes if i exit to the menu and try it from there. This happens (at least for me) since yesterday's patch. Using steam's revalidation of the integrity of the game cache showed a defect file, but it didn't help...
