I'd like to see a falconry unit. Possibly a scout promotion? Goody hut Survivor? An ability cast by a goody hut to Scouts (like spear of fionn)? Just add a little fun to the game without it being game breaking.
When fortified, can send out falcons to harass nearby (revealed) enemy military...
I'd like to see Devil's Tower (Bear Lodge Butte). At the end of industrial or beginning of modern era (Economics, Flight, Natural History?), a spaceship crash can be found on top of the mountain.
Adjacent tiles will then give a huge science bonus (6 bulbs?) plus 100% towards Space Port and...
funny thing, climate change affecting tiles is not a new feature... .it was in, way back around Civ 2-3, you could cause global warming with nukes (pollution) which would 'dry up' tiles. grassland become plains, plains to desert...
Science way too fast.
During the game your science/turn grows faster than the flat, linear rise in costs of the techs.
When you pair up a logarithmic line with a linear line, things never match up.
My opinion is that a city should be able to make more than 1 military unit in the same time span...
Washington's borders had already extended to 4 tiles, capturing ownership of the grassland tile your naturalist is standing in... and owned that tile, before Boston's border finally extended 3 tiles out. Since that tile is 4 away from Washington, washington can't use it. Boston can't use that...
Cathedrals work exactly like Traders. You have a max number of traders your civ will support (policy cards + govt type +wonder +commercial/harbor district). Once you start building the last of your traders, the build trader will be disabled for all other cities, and stay disabled unless you gain...
I finally got RnF not too long ago. I typically wait for a game to go on sale on Steam after it's first big patch. I've been playing since the original DOS Civilization.
I've ignored most of the game's off shoots, like Colonization. meh.
I did like how VI made me think of cities in a new way...
As a tip, on my city build screen, I usually have toggle the City Details window up on the Citizens, Amenities, and Housing tab where I can keep an eye on whether I need to build for Housing or Amenities. Here I can also know when NOT to build for Housing because some cities I want to keep...
