I am really fed up with how combat works in this game. I've just been playing, and my stack of about 50 artillery is giving only 10 successful hits each time I attack the city.

so i trade a lot of my techs for monarchy with sumeria, and then on the same turn, because i needed gold, i traded monarchy with spain for 19 gold. upon the exchange, spain went from "polite" to "annoyed". why?????????

i once had the zulu's last city completely surrounded by my troops, it was at 1 population, and they suddenly offered peace for all of my techs, gold and luxuries. it might be because another civ declared war on me and the AI thought i might not be able to handle both.

I like berserks the most, because of their amphibious assault ability. I guess they're not as effective on pangea maps though.
