Since I struggled a bit with some of the achievements on my way to 100% last week, and there were plenty of discussion/questions when someone else posted about their 100% on reddit, I figured that I would do a guide going over the achievements. Should hopefully clears up some confusions as well...

I haven't actually timed my turns, but I feel like the game runs fairly fast on my i5-3450 (also with 8gb ram) which according to benchmarks is very similar to i5-2500k. Only when I played on huge maps (twice so far) and I'm on turn 300+ does it take long enough for me to actually take my hand...

What can cause an opponent to get a sudden jump in Culture? I was at something like 9/12 Tourism when an AI attacked me and I had to concentrate on defending for a few turns. When things calmed down I looked at the culture tab and now I was at 12/23. This was around turn 110.
