I have solved the render error once and for all!!!! I removed the graphic card and the program now runs on the standard PC graphics. Sure the water doesn't look as good anymore but no crashing!!! Damn 5700 card. I will buy a new card that doesn't use nvideo.

I have played since Civ 2, found the initial Civ 5 a bit boring but love Brave New World. It has now surpassed the previous versions.

I have the same video card with the same problems. I also have pretty much given up which is pretty sad as I have played Civ since civ 2 days. I am hoping its a bug that will be fixed.
