    Reminder System

Does anyone have any great ideas for a reminder system? I find that quite frequently I could really use a note to myself in 10 turns to cancel a trade agreement, etc. I've been using Alt+S (sign mode) to place reminders on the map but I'd rather have what I suggested above. Don't say pen...

    Remember When...

...angry citizens, or happy ones, would march across the screen in disgust, rioting, or parading in the original Civilization? ...the AI would march across your entire country to target your least defended city? ...trekking across massive contintents and oceans to land those plump, juicy...

    Cancelling AI Trade Deals

Does anyone have any special insight into requesting that the AI cancel a trade deal with another AI? I traded a tech to the AI for cancellation of his active deals with another AI. He had about 3 or 4 active resource trades (plus Open Borders) prior to this and after our negotiations they...

    When Good Animals Go Bad

Actually, that's not true! I was playing a game yesterday where a barbarian archer and an animal were only a few squares away from each other. Unfortunately, the animal disappeared into the fog and the barbarian beelined towards me. That was the only time I'd ever seen animals and barbs...

    Why don't you attack...

Man, i've been playing Civ 4 for a while and never noticed the "Why don't you attack... (list of enemy cities)" option in diplomacy. I guess the diplomacy screens other than the trading one don't get used much...by me anyway. Is it just me or has anyone else neglected to see this option too?

    In Case of Emergency...Chop!

My thoughts pertaining to this idea were more about achieving a maximum efficiency in a non-warmongering play style rather than a blanket technique, I think. Personally, I would hate to chop a forest to produce an archer for quick defense. Depending on your playing style though, it might be...

    In Case of Emergency...Chop!

Here's a juicy little nugget pertaining to defense of the fatherland. The construction of an archer is usually a good idea sometime around (or before) the founding of your 3rd city. Pre-chop a forest down to 1 turn before completion. Do this in your most central (or Barbarian attack...
