I tried to download the DLL and nothing seemed to happen so I updated DirectX. I can now get onto the game but as I say the map is still black. Which part of the dxdiag results do you need? System information? Thanks :-)

I'm having the same problem! Can anyone help? I tried downloading one of the updates from the advanced part of the menu and now when I try to launch all i get is... "This application has failed to start because D3DX9_32.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this...
