Thanks for the welcome :) I found out the reason for the crashing, apparently it isn't Civ4 that crashes but my AtiTools. The game doesn't probably like my overclocking settings. Thank you for offering to help anyways!

I have a bit of a problem with one of my saved games, I play as China on the Warlord level (I know, I'm noobish) using the latest 3.17 patch with Solver's patch version 0.19. After playing the game with this save for about five minutes the game crashes the whole computer, no blue screen...
