I was wondering is Call to Power a branch of the Civilisation family, is it before or after Civ3. Reason why i am asking, I was wondering why the developers never fully absorbed the good concepts that were in CTP.

I played this exciting game at Regent Level where i won the Spaceship race and managed to get the Magnificent ranking on the scoreboard. Just like to ask is it very common to get such high ranking? I always thought you need to play at higher diffculty levels to get such a high ranking.
