ok, thats all well and good. i know nothing of graphic's cards. what i'm asking is there any way i can either a)play this game witht he current set up i have (ie-update drivers, make changes. or b) what inexpensive graphics card should i be looking for that would get me on the way?

not quite sure what that has to do with anything since i have no issues with running civ4 or warlords but here you go. the images show up in both of those two games but not bts. videos also do not show up. the blue screen behind the videos shows up but no video. i always play with the videos...
