Wow, this game really do get a lot of hate. I wouldn't know because my month long attempt to start a love affair with Civ V failed miserably and BE doesn't seem to be an upgrade at all. What Civ V DID do, though, was to make me realize what a great game Civ IV was and how much I wished I was...

Bernbaum, yes I got BUG mod installed. I reinstalled the game last week and found out it didn't look as expected, I scracthed my head and figured it out, ahh the Bug mod, so I downloaded the latest BUG to go with my freshly up dated edition of Beyond the Sword. But I do not have that green bugs...

Hmmm alt + x doesn't work either. But if I understood correctly, I have to activate the dot map option? Is that right and if so, were do I do it? I scanned all the menus but can't find anything BUG related.

I'm sorry, I really didn't want to post this but... I've searched the forum for information about how to enable the dot mapping tool in the BUG mod. I use the strategy layer and I use ctrl + A or ctrl + X but nothing happens. I was really in to CIV IV two years ago and used the tool regularly...

Ok, I'm convinced, I'm finally buying this game.I suck at the diplomacy game any way.:lol:

Hi guys and gals. I've managed to break my Civ addiction and hasn't been playing for about a year. Now my fingers are itching again. So, since I've been out of the loop for some time. Is it worth to invest in Civ V? Because I found Civ IV to be nearly the perfect game. What's the pros and cons...

Maybe I’m far of target here but is it so that the game favours some special leaders when you start a game with random leaders (as opposition)? Because, at least in my games, all the familiar faces pop up when I start exploring. MONTY, check; PACAL, check; ALEXANDER, check; ELIZABETH, check...
