I suppose my options are a bit different in Vanilla, cause I don't have the option to plant spies. I just get the same two options steal and investigate.

I only have 15 civs, so I guess I don't have the e-packs. I will have to look into getting them. I am on a Mac as well, just saw a thread that leads me to believe that there might be a difference between MAC and PC versions.

I have been searching hi and low on how to create a spy and cause trouble. after I got espionage and built the IA, I only had the same 2 choices on the e button. investigate and steal, but none of the other stuff that they list in the description of espionage.
