I have pretty much tired every driver from 71.x to the 81.85, I found the most recent driver worked the best. The glitches are all machine dependent and if you are having issues it is worth trying the new drivers. It is like running your car on on coolant and have having only occaisions...

I have found the 71.89 driver to solve some problems but the game still has issues from time to time. Athlon 1.33 768 Mb RAM 6600 GT 128

I got the eVGA 6600 GT from circuit city for 150, was 250-100 mail in, I know they are kinda a pain but the GT is far superior to the plain 6600, so might be worth checking out. Upgrading to this card from my old GeForce 3 even allowed me to actually play this game, yay for me.
