I think that it's really important to point out that the block of text that everyone is copy and pasting actually isn't from the Civ VI EULA, it's from the Privacy Policy on 2K's Website; and if you read the quoted section in context, it is far less alarming than everyone seems to be making it...

I ran into exactly the same thing: interminable loading screens after playing for several days without major incident. What seemed to solve it for me was deleting local content and re-downloading the game. Here's what's funny, though: I was also playing TF2 right before it happened.
