Aw shoot! So there's nothing I can do to make it work on my netbook without an external monitor or GiMeSpace desktop extender, right? I am so sad right now...

Installed it in the c:\Users\Public\Games\CivIII directory using setup.exe under Windows XP (sp3) compatibility mode and it still doesn't work. Any suggestion?

I had installed it under d:\Civilization III But I am going to try the directory you suggested.

So yeah, I just bought Civilization III Complete from D2D and I can't make it work. I've installed it under Windows XP (sp3) compatibility mode like ainwood suggested and have tried to run the .exe shortcut under Windows XP compatibility mode as well. I am using Windows 7 Starter and this is...
