disabling auto save did not solve the problem.

Wow, finally someone with the same problem as me, well almost. I actually figured out that I was seeing the Auto Save text coming up in the upper left corner the minute that the game loaded. I am thinking this is the problem and I am going to disable auto save in the _CIV4 config file...

Umm alamo 64 MB should easily handle a game like CIV4 in 1024 x 768....

anyone? I have tried every fix mentioned with no luck..

It doesn't help me when restarting. I have tried 10-15 times:mad: :mad: I have had the same exact problem as others in this thread. Except now, I can't even load any game???? It lags on the "done" loading screen, games then loads(finally) then it seems after 5-10 seconds the games crashes to...

I successfully installed and ran civ4 with out any problems. I played a single player game for about 4 hours. The next day i continued by loading the game i previously saved the day before, and everything ran perfect. But Today, I went to load a previously saved game, and the load time drags...
