This is probably true. Part of the reason I'm here is to work on my strategy. I fully admit I am what you would probably call a "noob" coming back to the civilization franchise after a couple years of not playing (and even when I was playing I was hardly what you could consider good lol)

Well it is early in the game. I got a tribal village that gsve me another city and built 2 fast workers and nearly all improveable tiles have been improved. So I essentially had one to spare. It was a smaller map too.

Just played until 2000BC in one go last night with my bother! :) Thanks again everyone for making it happen!!

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on whether using a fast worker to explore would be a good or bad idea? I know it's a gamble because they have no defence but they have 3 movement and many things kill scouts anyway. Thoughts?

That may very well be the issue where we have been trying multiple times with the same game name. I will try this.

Point taken lol. I would still consider myself a very inexperienced player and always have grappled with whether the slower city growth or the worker is better, but after reading from here it would seem the worker is better. Thank you for the strategy as well as the tech support :)
