the travel ban is an easy one - until some judge tells you it's not ;-) I myself have massive unhappiness -around 50- after some wars of conquest. I built almost every building, incl courthouses of course, but most of my unhappiness (49) is caused by specialists...and I don't know how to counter...

I played the hell out of Alpha Centauri, but never ever did I see vassals in it. Loved them in Civ IV. And Firaxis, if you read this: I want Alpha Centauri II. I'll give you money for it ;-)

Hi, I do feel very stupid, but...I don't seem to find out how to get the modpack to work. When I go to the mods-screen, there are a lot of mods there (incl some older ones I used before). I think I checked the correct boxes, but the Civ IV-diplomacy (a mod I used before) just won't work because...

that's very interesting. I had a Phenom II X6 1090T and replaced the processor (and mobo off course) with a recent i5. Shockingly, my system scored better on the benchmarks with the X6 -and I bought that one in 2009. Even when playing Civ 5 with the new i5, I noticed it loaded a bit SLOWER.

I think luxury resources give amenities too, but on a limited basis (so not for all cities, no idea how this works - distance? Road connection?)
