I had heard of the giant map, but I didn't realize it allowed for 32 players. That would entirely alleviate my issues, if I could scale the Firaxis Earth map up anyway. I'll download it, thank you!

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I'm dying to know if anyone has made any progress on this front, or if the Civ community as a whole has given up hope and is holding out for either One World or Civ 6. I've been working on a simple scenario using Firaxis' huge Earth map, with TSL for 22 civs...
