I just tried it on huge with 3 civs and the game crashed as well, so I'm guessing it's the map. Gonna try on small with 18 civs or so now.

For one reason or another the game keeps crashing whilst loading huge maps, does anyone else have this problem?
The game works fine when I try to load small maps? Would it have anything to do with my specs?
So I just did download the 3.19 version of this scenario but for one reason or another the techtree doesn't show.
The second problem is (I think) that the game starts in 20 BC, so the call for the crusades came when I was well under way building galleons. Is that supposed to be correct...
Mmm is it like that the whole world is obsessed with Canada having it's own civ... Or is it just so that this board is immensly populated by Canadians?
This is not the first scenario/mod with a Canadian civ :P
Well since the scenario starts in 1862 it was idd 1800+ but dunno exactly... no to far just had assembly line...
But perhaps because I played it on chieftain...
Just played with the Germans... and for one reason or another... when I declared war on France, all there cities where without defending units. Took them over in no time. Any reason why this is? Doesn't make it very fun :D

Well in game the English aren't at war with the French...
thus they shouldn't also be at war with the Dutch... the capture of Kaap de Goede Hoop was a result of the Dutch allowing the French to take over their land...
But since the English almost never declare war on France in the begin...
