I've tried old world a few times .The game looks very interesting but I can't get into it because models are missing art. It's got better since last year with the wonders and hamlets being updated but the walls still look unfinished. I hope that's not the final model since everything else seems...
I started a new random map game with apocalypse mode active. The polar ice caps flooded early in that game mode and there was no update to the terrain texture except for pillaged improvements / districts. I also noticed the active volcanoes looked dead. I tried to save and reload but it still...
I was playing a game on the ynamp giant earth last night and got to the second polar ice caps melting. Tiles at 1m and 2m were flooded but the texture still looked like nothing had happened. I thought maybe it was a problem with that specific map but now I see this post.
They could let units stack into a party and add tactical combat maps like in age of wonders, that would work very well and add a whole new dynamic to the game.
The game seems interesting at first but it's very lacking and unpolished. It feels like half a game of civ with crusader kings 2 events and marriage system bandaged on. If you're going to make a game like this, so limited in tech advancement and civilization choices it needs to have a realistic...
I played my first game on prince as Rome on the giant earth map with TSL. This map is very crowded in europe so my only option was to expand by conquering but it was a struggle to even take the first city state. I had to restart several times, rushing legions didn't work because by the time I...
Why don't you try always war 42 civs 18 city states (60 max allowed) on a map larger than huge. You can ally with city states that have good bonuses like 20% extra combat experience, give amenities or something else useful. You must declare war when you encounter a leader and no peace can ever...
I go with standard speed and the mods x5 research and x5 civics. It slows the game down enough, allowing you to enjoy each era. The default research speed is way too fast. Epic and marathon slow the game down also but the downside is the increased production costs making everything take forever...
I want a mod that makes every civilization at war with everyone from the start of the game. Diplomacy and war weariness would be disabled. City states can be like normal or maybe have an option for them to have always war.
Anyone know a mod that does this or would be willing to create it?
The ludicrous random map size crashes when I do reveal all as well but It's still playable. I have a game going with all 36 civs and max city states, got to the late medieval age so far and I'm using a mod that slows research down x5 so the AI builds a ton of units. I have not had any issues...
I don't like amber being placed in coastal tiles because it seems to replace most or all of the sea food in the area, too much of it is clumped together. Does anyone know what file I have to edit to remove the resource from coastal tiles?
Thank you.
I think they should expand on the leaders and give them more depth. Make them actual characters that live and die during the course of the game. Each civ should have many, many leaders with their own unique strengths and weakness, like crusader kings 2.
If they are they not willing to do that...
I stopped playing civ 6 around a year ago because one of the patches made the turn timers too long while waiting for the barbarians to move on the giant earth map mod. It would start around turn 30-50 and the timers were 5-10 minutes long. I know it was a bug with barbarians because it didn't...
