Gotta disagree with you on the land deal...I think the "purchase" of Manhattan island was a much better deal in the long run. Louisiana cost a lot more than a nice dinner. :)

First off, continents are a subjective measurement of land with no real basis. Realistically, there should be four continents: Eurasia/Africa, Australia, Antarctica, and America. In reality, however, there are 7. None of the seven are named "America". Therefore, if a country existed that...

Maybe I'm reading the editor wrong...but war elephants and knights have identical stats right now (4/3/2). Isn't the UU supposed to have SOME advantage? Or is the only advantage that the elephants don't require any resources?

Now that I've gotten the patch, of course the no-cd check thingy that I got doesn't work for the new version. Does anyone know where I can get a no-cd check for the newest version. I keep having to tote the CD with me to the 2 comps I play on...very obnoxious.

I have a question about one of the most annoying things about Civ3. Is there any way to play the game without the CD in the computer? It drives me nuts having to switch CDs back and forth all the time. With Civ2, I could play without the CD and it was great. Does anyone have any utilities...
