I figured out that the reason my game crashed was because it did not have patch 2.13 installed, it crashed in vanilla and patched to 2.08, so it had nothing to do with TR.

I just downloaded Total Realism 2.3 for the warlords, and now the game crashes whenever I try to build my first city in the Total Realism mod. And now it crashes whenever I start a game in the regular mode. It worked before the install, and I have tried reinstalling the whole game multiple...
