You need to open the file "CIV4YieldInfos.xml" with a text editor. You will find this file in x:/..Tac-folder (don't remember the exact name)/assets/xml/terrain
The entry for a good looks like this:
<iBuyPriceLow>8</iBuyPriceLow>

The lsystems are really not that hard to manage if you understand how they work.
Basically the game places nodes of different sizes on every plot. You can use them for buildings, resources, improvements or what ever you like.
The lsystem tells the game how to fill them.

Yes, i have thought about that too. Could be tricky and there would be quiet some work involved. Not sure about the shadows. Colonization casts them dynamically. So you can easily rotate them via the light source.

Okay, the eyeshadow mesh causes the problem. I just removed it, it's not really necessary and you won't notice the difference.
Anyway, i noticed some other small flaws. There is a lot of ununnecessary stuff in the nif file. I have removed that aswell.

It's not possible to figure out what the problem is based on the screenshots. I would need a quick look at the nif file to tell you what's wrong. If you haven't solved your problem already, attach your files and i will fix that for you.

I've skipped the hole units as leaderheads thing, mainly because it would be still a good amount of work to make it look nice. And why shouldn't i (or you) just make a real leaderheads instead then which will look much better.
I will use that for the background settings in the future...
Okay, got a quick look. Looks good so far, but i have some suggestions.
First, remove the NiAlphaProperty from the face mesh. It isn't needed and causes the glasses-texture to glitch (they are murky). Especially good to see during the greetings animation.
