Ok just had a nice multiplayer action going, we had like 6 players and rest computers. 18 players in total. Heh, and I WON!.. By points victory on 2050ad. Oh well no CTDs at all, and my first online game, spreat Judaism like hell, created prophet and had some +13 gold with 100% research.
:king:
Well it's not a useless post as most of the guys here having problems are ATI users, and there's already been couple threads for nvidia drivers. As already given couple posts earlier.
Given that the thread maybe should be renamed for ATI.
Installed omega_2597a (omega catalyst 4.12 official), though I could play before these drivers. I had pretty random CTDs, but atleast with these drivers the gameplay is a lot better performance wise.
Still have to play more to say anything for the CTDs. Atleast it looks promising. Oh and I...
Hmm.. that is interesting, though dun see that DumpMemLeaks helping while playing since it says "on Exit" or something. And then those VTUNE things. Developers hiding something from us..
Heh, hmm.. sorry can't help it, but I quess we aren't seeing any good reviews of this game in Finland if even the reviewers can't get the game working..
Well, I have decent computer. Surely above the recommended specs. I had problems right from the start. Right now I can play it if I skip the intro and creation story, oh and don't scroll through mp chat log with ctrl+tab, and well don't generally scroll through the internet games on the...

Check that thread out.. if you have the same thing happening. I'm having mobility radeon 9700 128MB
Problem with game hanging quite fast after the intro. If you have a PythonErr2.log in your Logs folder, you probaply have this same thing happening to you.
While I was correcting the problem with city_tittlearrows.tga, which seems to have been fixed with copying that file from Civ4/Custom -->...
Hmm.. I seem to have gotten it to "work", so I wen't to follow the python problem and stumpled to these lines on _Civ4Config:
; Set to 1 for no python exception popups
HidePythonExceptions = 1
I changed this to 0..
; Set to 1 for no python exception popups
HidePythonExceptions = 0...

Well, I copied the city_titlearrows.tga or whatever from the Civ4/Custom folder to --> Civ4/HUD, the errors that are reported to ThemeParseLog.txt seems to have disappeared.
Well anyways I still get a crash with the game, similar to the couple posts before with my gpu getting to standby mode...
I'm running on laptop with mobility radeon 9700 and 128mb of it's own memory. Currently when I'm at the menu the game hangs and some sounds remain playing there, I might get some weird checker screens and bump back to desktop, without my gpu drivers running.
If I'm fast enough I can get the...
