It's a great map and I enjoyed it, but the Next War technology and units aren't in it. Did you take them out? I've put the file earth 36 Civs in different places - I've tried it from My documents/ Games and My computer/ programs/ Firaxis/ BTS/ one in Mods and one in Maps. Still no Next War tech...

I put the Expanded folder in the Next War mod folder, nothing else. Should I put it somewhere else?

This has happened to me a couple of times, even though the CD has never left the drive; it just randomly happens every-so-often. To fix it last time, I loaded Civ Iv's disc, then put Beyond the Sword in again and it worked perfectly. Simply taking out the disc then putting it back i n didn't work.

I get it every single game, too, and I've never had the Apostolic Palace thanks to Next War.

I downloaded the patch that came with the European release, and I've checked for updates and there are none.
