Can you choose which citizen in a captured city is used to make a worker?

you can also click on the enemy's capital city symbol to pull up the spy/embassy dialog box.

Tae Shala, did you notice what your score was the turn before you took over the world? I am just curious what the bonus is for an ealry victory. Searay, I read in one of the other forums that there is a minimum research time (~4 turns I think).
