I can't recall events between religions, would need to replay it; I know theres the 'apprehend that guy in the market' event that spreads religion but thats the only one I remember. I would be curious how that would work with customizable religions, definitely doable if you tie the interactions...
I'm a huge fan of what Mohawk Studios did with Old World's religion mechanics. Like Civ 4 its not completely under your control (although owning the Holy City really helps) and you have to appease the religion itself which in return nets you Civ wide happiness boons. If there was an Old World...
When you say "Unlock" do you mean "Recommend"? Since Han is available to anyone as an Antiquities Civ. Or do you mean Ming by the first set of statements? If its the first, shoulda been Lu Bu anyway 😡
Also, Mississipians recommendation might be to do with Himikos legendary nature of leading...
Settle cities in my own continent, collect resources in my own continent and trade for resources I don't have, wage war and conquer those on my own continent... etc. etc. I've played plenty of games where I went isolationist.
That is good to know, I didn't know this.
I'm in a weird spot. I've put it down for a 4 but I still want it.
My reasoning? This feels like the most forced civ to date, especially the Exploration era. Every civ has optimal strategies but no Civ forces you to pursue a particular strategy, this one looks like it forces 4... three times...
On the semi-tileless, isn't that how Total War games worked? They are just really really teeny tiny tiles. So all that is needed really is to give units a zone of control, which works better if units are compressed into armies rather than each unit moving independently.
Personally I prefer the...
I am getting the same feelings when I play the game. Just today I found out farm tiles besides rivers earn +1 food! I cannot find that information anywhere, it just appeared out of nowhere...
The game has a ton of great ideas, but like Humankind it hasn't done well to implement them IMO, which...
Not super relevant to this thread, there is a game due to release soon that has an interesting take on eras in which the person to first tech into it can tech into variations of eras based on actions they've taken, warping the entire game.
Millenia (the name of the game) for example allows you...
I would prefer they played optimally. I do, however, see that players may want the game to feel more 'immersive'... This is one of those things you could include in a game setting option 'Turn on AI Immersive Behaviours'. In Old World they even have a 'play to win' option, where the AI work to...
Err, just saying if you need to click on a unit then it is not easy to evaluate 'at first sight'...
Its doable though. If you made each of the smaller units that compose a unit a representation of a different unit (I realize this is worded poorly) then you could sort of see the stack at first...
I might be reading this wrong, but it sounds like your suggestion for improving 1UPT is to have multiple units on a single tile?? Unless you mean you can only do this with Great Generals? In which case Civ already has this weird great general race going and this would amplify it, it would need a...
As someone born in the Middle East (Iraq, though raised in the UK), I would love to see as much representation of the region as possible! That being said, if Civ7 comes out with 18 civs like the previous few have I feel like the Middle East is a difficult place to fairly represent (and by fairly...
