There has been climate changes in the past too (Little Ice Age), so it's not just something for the end game, they could introduce some events happening mid-game too.
I hope we'll have more DLCs with new civs, I like to meet new face, with new animations, new musics, etc. I'd like to see new wonders, new resources or new city states too. I wouldn't be interested in DLCs with scenarios or map scripts though.
I wouldn't consider myself a casual player (considering the number of hours I've spent on the game), but I wouldn't care about AI improvements all that much and I'd rather have new features.
I didn't buy the Deluxe Edition, but that wasn't because I didn't want to take the risk, in fact I don't recall I was aware at that time that there was a Season Pass available. Perhaps I didn't pay attention to the Deluxe Edition, thinking it was just some pack of goodies, and not some in-game...
Yes I would. Meeting new faces is a big part of buying new DLCs for me. I would most likely buy a two-leader pack for 5€ with some extra content like new ressources, new natural wonders or new city states. I'm not interested in map scripts or scenarios though.
In french, the voice actor is also the french voice of Charles Dance or Ian McKellen for example, and he's the new voice of Darth Vader. Not as famous as Sean Bean, but still quite known as a voice actor. He did CiV too.
