Most of the time, the game shuts down to desktop after a few minutes. It used to be just when I selected the tech tree, civics panel, civilopedia or a few other things. One in a while, the game would load without any of these problems but it means that to play the game, I have to load it...

Does anyone know why the game usually shuts down to desktop every time I open the civilopedia, civics tab, tech tree or anything similar as well as occasionally for no reason.

Every time I try to load a mod I download from here, it doesn't load properly. Sometimes (as with RoM AND), it just returns to the desktop and doesn't do anything, no matter how long I wait. With most mods though, it just loads vanilla BtS with the only difference being the "unload mod" option...

I haven't changed the folder's name. As far as I know, I'm using version 1.75. EDIT: For some reason, although I didn't do anything, it now appears in the list of mods but when I select it, I end up back at the desktop and nothing happens.

I've got it in the right folder and everything but it still doesn't work on either of my computers. (One uses 32 bit Vista, the other 64 bit Win7). I've checked everything a million times and I can't find any problems. It just doesn't appear in the list of mods.

I recently downloaded this mod but I just can't get it to work. I installed it exactly as it says here but it doesn't even appear on the list when I try to load it from BtS.
