My pc has 12 gigs of ram, a gig of video memory but it still crashes once my maps start getting more complicated, or as one poster put it, messier. I also have to leave the settings on default, which means most of them are just on medium.

Ha! Like I was going to wait that long, I bought it as a direct download. It played beautifully for a week before it started crashing so I have downloaded the patch and am off right now to try this other fix you guys have mentioned. Love this game! Hold on, the site with that switch says it...

I play single player anyway so that means I won't have an issue? Cool. I am completely addicted to the demo and can't wait for the full game to arrive, I had to order it from Amazon.
